* Perform creative menu development and maintains the standard. Research and develop new products based on seasonal ingredients, holidays and dessert trends.
* Creating new and exciting desserts to renew our menus and engage the interest of customers.
* Stay current and informed of useful culinary trends
* Maintains cleanliness on the workplace and make sure bakery machines is functional and materials are properly kept on correct storage.
* Routinely clean and maintain kitchen tools and equipment.
* Strictly adheres to all procedures and specifications, methods and instructions.
* Determine quantity of product to prep for next day’s operation by maintaining detailed production schedule. Pack and label baked goods with accurate descriptions.
* Responsible for following all standardized procedures, safety regulations
* Ensures all food is prepared fresh and is on the highest quality. Provide the highest levels of pastry products and services.
* Monitor stocks for baking ingredients such as flour, sugar etc. and make appropriate orders within budget
* Assists in determining how food should be presented and creates decorative food displays
* Other tasks assigned by BOD and General Manager

* College Diploma, related professional area or 2-year degree from an accredited university in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
* Minimum of 4 years of experience in pastry cooking or Pastry Chef Experience with high volume food production
* Good knowledge of different types of pastry, dessert, cake decorating
* Posses professional disposition with good communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work a variety of shifts including weekends, days, afternoons and evenings
* Positive attitude and Good communication skills
