A. Job Summary
The E-Commerce Marketing Associate focuses on optimizing and driving the eCommerce experience. They ensure that the websites / front end of the stores are updated with the best content experience and with the smoothest customer journey. They also ensure that all our e-commerce stores practice the use of different promotional tools to drive traffic, generate sales and retain existing customers. This involves working closely with the various departments to accurately create marketing plans, implement effective marketing strategies, and monitor performance. Recommends improvement on e-commerce procedure to ensure efficiency and cost-effective methods in support of sales and management objectives.
B. Duties and Responsibilities
1. Communicates / Coordinates / Negotiates with online accounts with regards to requirements, new marketing tools, etc.
2. Visual Merchandising:
a. Updates store banners with the latest offerings and ensures promos are highlighted.
b. Plans and coordinates with marketing communications team in overall store decoration to ensure smooth customer journey.
c. Double checks accuracy of product details page and photos.
3. Promotion:
a. Monitors sales and inventory to determine products that needs to be promoted.
b. Computes costing and margins for upcoming promotions.
c. Coordinates with various departments on promo requirements.
d. Suggests campaigns to be joined / implemented.
e. Enrolls promotional SKUs to various campaigns.
4. Marketing:
a. Creates marketing plan and suggests optimal spending for each category.
b. Uses different available marketing tools to promote existing campaigns.
c. Explores new tools and programs to increase traffic and sales growth.
d. Reviews and responds to product reviews.
5. Monitoring & Assessment:
a. Monitoring of campaign calendar.
b. Researches on best practices and implements on e-commerce stores.
c. Prepares e-commerce weekly and monthly reports for discussion and assessment with E-Commerce Manager and Management.
d. Evaluates effectivity of campaigns and recommends action plan.
e. Ensures that all campaigns are implemented timely and properly.
f. Monitors key metrics of each e-commerce store.
g. Checks and reports the effectivity of marketing tools used.
6. Performs other tasks that may be assigned by the immediate leader.
C. Qualification
1. Graduate of any 4-year business related course.
2. Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
3. Strong organizational skills, analytical skills and attention to detail.
4. Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
5. Basic to advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint skills.
6. Experience in e-commerce or marketing industry is a plus.
7. Can start immediately.
